🧠Why Cursor?
In this training, we'll use Cursor. It combines your IDE + AI assistant.
It's more of a "pick your own poison" situation. You can choose:
• Lovable
• Replit
• VS Code
• Claude Code
My reason for NOT choosing non-IDE tools:
If you use Lovable and similar tools, you'll eventually hit two problems:
1. Your tool becomes too big and you spend too much money on each change
2. You want more control, so you switch to an actual IDE
Cursor gives you kinda the best of both worlds from the start (but is less friendly to complete beginners)
PS. Why I use Cursor?
I personally use Cursor for several reasons:
- It's a real IDE - I can do more than just UI tweaks
- Affordable with good credit limits on the free plan
I started with the free plan (it was enough for my needs). Now I am on Pro plan and paying myself.
Need to add that for small changes and projects, I still use Lovable for small changes.
